- The file must be plain text and with a .txt extension, with comma or tab-separated columns
- There must one row per star
- One row might define a target, check or comparison star
- A rows consists of
- Name
- R.A. (equinox J2000) in decimal format
- Dec (equinox J2000) in decimal format
- B magnitude
- V magnitude
- R magnitude
- I magnitude
- Star type: 'T' for target, 'C' for comp star and 'H' for check star
- If there is no magnitude available (as for target stars), use 0
- You can have as many target, check and comp star rows as you like
